Edson Buddle's desire to play abroad has led him to a club that may be a step down from his MLS team.Rather than playing alongside the likes of Landon Donovan and David Beckham, Buddle will be suiting up for a club barely clinging to its place in the German second division.
FC Ingolstadt, known in soccer circles for all of a week as the site of Freddy Adu's latest desperate trial, announced Monday that it has signed the MLS MVP finalist on a free transfer.
