And now: The condescending ball boy

"I hope there's something else you're actually good at."

The ball boy revolt has been going on for some time now. From the kid who tossed the ball too high for Jens Lehmann's liking to that other kid who tried to get Anderlecht goalkeeper Silvio Allaj Proto to fight him, ball boys around the world have doing little things to show footballers who's boss. But never have they been quite so heartless as this young man who stood over Panama's Gabriel Torres following his side's Central American Cup semifinal loss to Costa Rica. On penalties. In front of a home crowd.

This ball boy looks down on the already crushed Torres with his hands on his hips and scorn emanating from his face like a laser beam capable of inflicting a terminal illness. Who knows what he actually said to Torres, but judging by the look on the player's face, it was probably insensitive and astoundingly cruel.

The ball boys are an icy breed. Their rule is a merciless one.
