Yohandry Orozco earned Venezuela a 1-1 draw against Peru in their South American qualifying match for the U-20 World Cup on Monday with a Messi-like solo effort that literally brought his teammates to their knees.
Starting in his own half, Orozco weaved his way through lunging defenders before pinning a shot from outside the box to the top corner of the goal. The commentator then shouted until his lungs jumped out of his body and ran away, while Orozco's teammates knelt down before him.
With this standard now set, the 19-year-old Orozco is hereby declared the Messi of Venezuela and will not be expected to do this in every match he plays from now on forever. Good luck, Yohandry.
