Shaun Wright-Phillips? winner against Chelsea even stunned Shaun Wright-Phillips

Shaun Wright-Phillips scored in the 78th minute against former club Chelsea to give last-place QPR their second win of the season. According to the Fulham Chronicle's Dan Levene, it was QPR's first league win at Stamford Bridge in 30 years and Wright-Phillips' first Premier League goal since he was playing for Man City against West Ham in May 2010.

The statisticians at Opta add that "Wright-Phillips had 42 shots in the Premier League in 2012 without scoring, more than any other player." Given all of that, it makes total sense that the former England winger appeared to be stunned into a catatonic state after he scored...

"OK you guys, I can't be sure, but I think I just scored a goal. Like, a for real goal..."

"Oh- oh no. Now my body is trying to swallow my tongue of out confusion..."

"Shutting down..."

"...and I'm spent."

Chelsea had won their previous three matches by a combined score of 11-1, but life with Rafa Benitez as interim manager has swung back the other way just as fans started folding up their "Rafa out" signs. Maybe they weren't wrong about him after all.
