Puma subject Borussia Dortmund to flashmob?s airport serenade after Champions League loss

You know how after losing the Champions League final to one of your biggest rivals all you want to do is go home and eat ice cream and not have to watch a surprise 30-person flashmob hired by your club's kitmaker to serenade you with a fully choreographed, Glee-like rendition of Primal Scream's "Movin' On Up" in London Stanstead Airport? Well, now Borussia Dortmund know that too.

The day after losing 2-1 to Bayern Munich on an 89th minute goal in the Champions League final, Dortmund players and staff were standing in the terminal when a man started to beatbox and others broke out in dance. The players tried to ignore the odd airport behavior until another man with a guitar emerged and began to sing the sugary tune.

Unsurprisingly, the most positive reactions to the performance came from bystanders who didn't just suffer the biggest disappointment of their professional careers less than 24 hours earlier. The players, meanwhile, mostly just looked confused by the strangers singing to them in a foreign language. Some of them did clap at the end of the song as a "We are proud of you" banner (again, in English) was brought out. They then wandered off towards their flight home, surely wondering if all of that was really intended to brighten their spirits or just to be used as a sentimental marketing ploy that takes advantage of their still raw emotions.
