Celsinho, a defender for Brazilian side Bangu, has been given a six-match ban for sneaking onto the pitch without permission to make a goal-line clearance during a match against Duque de Caxias, according to Reuters. Celsinho was receiving treatment for a cramp behind the goal when Bangu's keeper had the ball taken off him outside the box. That set up Duque's Charles Chad for a shot on the empty net which was stopped by a headed clearance from Celsinho.
The defender was sent off and Duque were awarded an indirect free kick inside the box which came to nothing. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, so in the moment, Celsinho's save seemed to be worth it. The addition of the six-match ban to his sending off might make him regret it, though. Then again, not being allowed on the pitch isn't something he lets stop him from being on the pitch.
