Early in the second half of a Brazilian second division match between America Mineiro and Bragantino, America goalkeeper Neneca did everything he could to keep to score at 0-0 by collecting the ball and then delivering a flying kick to an opposing striker's face. Except that backfired and he was sent off.
Neneca was shown a straight red and a penalty was awarded for the kick that laid out Diego Barboza, who later scored as Bragantino won 2-0.
