Alex Morgan strikes again. Twice.
The forward from Diamond Bar tallied in the 88th minute and again in stoppage as the U.S. women's national team, preparing for the London Olympics, rallied to beat New Zealand, 2-1, Saturday in near-freezing temperatures in Frisco, Texas.
Morgan, 22, has 16 goals in 32 international games and six in five matches this year.
Morgan headed home a Megan Rapinoe cross to pull the U.S. even -- Kiwis goalkeeper Jenny Bindon appeared to knocked it away, but she was in the net at the time -- and then nodded in the winner after Abby Wambach got her head to a Rachel Buehler cross.
