CARSON -- Soccer fans with a few free midday hours could have dropped by Home Depot Center on Friday morning and watched a Major League Soccer club play in a game -- and for free.
If you are a Chivas USA fan, your favorite players were out on Field 4 beating up on a fourth-tier club in their second encounter of the preseason, and you could line up on the sideline opposite the benches to catch the action.
Galaxy fans? No such luck.
