Gary Neville gives Paul Scholes one last kiss, retires

Neville: Paul?

Scholes: Yeah, Gary?

Neville: I've got something to tell you.

Scholes: No...don't say it.

Neville: I have to, Paul. I have to. I'm...I'm retiring. Effective immediately, I'm retiring. But this isn't the end for us! We'll always have Manchester.

Scholes: That's it?

Neville: Well, yeah that's it. We've been together for a long time and I'm retiring now. I'm not going to be in the team anymore. Things will be different.

Scholes: Yeah, but...to be honest, I thought you retired at least three years ago.

Neville: That's not cool, Paul. That's really not cool. I know I haven't been playing as much lately, but come on!

Scholes: I'm sorry! That's just what I thought. We all thought you just liked hanging around with the lads, so you've been, like, lingering, you know? Plus you've been sitting with Becks in the stands and he's been retired forever now. I mean, you've been great -- don't get me wrong.

Neville: Fine. Whatever. Well I'm officially retired for real. Just like you've thought for "at least three years" now. Now you're right. You're exactly right.

Scholes: I'm sorry, Gar, but-

Neville: Oh and by the way, your breath tastes like dog food. I wasn't going to tell you before, but yeah -- it does. Deal with it.
